Jen Warakomski, Director Yoga-Yoga has been practicing yoga for five years. She is studying to become a certified yoga instructor and believes we are always students in life. She has recently taken on the Yoga-Yoga studio community direction in place of the Yoga-Yoga founder Nancy Kunz. Warm thoughts and unending thanks to Nancy for her support to continue the Yoga-Yoga community!

Patrizia Netri La-Lumia, Co-Director Yoga-Yoga has been practicing Yoga since the early '90-s. She has completed numerous Teacher Training programs in Hatha Yoga and Meditation through the Integral Yoga Institute of NYC & Therapeutic Yoga with Cheri Clampett and Arturo Peel. She has taught various types of classes from Hatha at Integral Yoga to Yoga to Live Music in Central Park to Corporate Yoga Programs and even co-led a Yoga Retreat in Tuscany with Integral Yoga. The Sanskrit name Netri, which means Leader/Guide, was given by her teachers who inspire her to live up to this title. In addition she is a Usui Reiki Master/Teacher and Thai Yoga Practitioner. She feels blessed to have the ability to share the wealth of the Yoga teachings. Patrizia humbly wishes to express Pranam to all her teachers, especially Swami Ramananda and Amita Banerjee.

Joan Schaffer was inspired by her father who began practicing yoga in the 1950s on the lower east side. Joan has been practicing yoga since 1993 and completed yoga teacher training at Yoga Sutra with Christopher Hildebrandt in 2006. She has been a student of Sri K. Pattabhi Jois since 2000 in both Mysore, India and New York. Joan has also studied with: Manju Jois, David Life, David Swenson, and more, and is currently a student of Greg Tebb and Amy Santos.

Emily Dolby-Shields creates classes that are influenced by her background in the performing arts, blending music and movement playfully with the yoga postures. She encourages a balance of strength and grace, and asks students to step out of their minds and into their hearts as they move through the poses. Emily is certified by the Integral Yoga Institute, and also teaches pre-natal and post-partum yoga. She is currently studying to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. Emily is thrilled to be joining the Yoga-Yoga family.

Richard Barcia is a certified Hatha 1 & 2 teacher at Integral Yoga for the past seven and a half years and teaches there regularly. He was a founding member and director of the Yoga to Help Heal Program in Central Park. He currently teaches for Namaste which conducts classes throughout the city. He has also conducted yoga seminars for Citibank, the Appalachian Mountain Club and individual students.
